A boy who was abducted seven years ago and featured on a popular Netflix true crime show has finally been found.
Abdul Aziz Khan vanished in 2017 from his home in Atlanta, Georgia, shortly after Thanksgiving. His case turned into a cold mystery, leaving his family desperate for answers.
The heartbreaking story was later highlighted on the Netflix documentary series Unsolved Mysteries, in hopes of shedding light on the case and helping bring Abdul home.
The series, which brings attention to unresolved cases, aims to engage the public by encouraging viewers to share any potential leads. Each episode provides details on how to submit tips.
Authorities suspected that Abdul was taken by his mother, Rabia Khalid, after the courts granted his father full custody.
Now, in a surprising turn of events, the missing child has finally been found 1,500 miles away in Colorado after an unexpected chain of events led police straight to him.

According to reports from The Mirror, law enforcement officers were responding to a burglary call when they unknowingly stumbled upon the missing boy.
The incident began when a homeowner, whose property was listed for sale, noticed two people trespassing on his security cameras and immediately alerted the police.
Upon arrival, deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office found two children sitting in the back of a car parked in the driveway, while two adults were allegedly breaking into the home.
Police arrested the two adults at the scene, later identifying them as 40-year-old Rabia Khalid - Abdul's mother and 42-year-old Elliot Blake Bourgeois.
Both suspects now face multiple charges, including Second-Degree Kidnapping, Forgery, Identity Theft, Providing False Information to Authorities, and Trespassing.
Their bail has been set at $1,000,000 each, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Abdul has been placed in protective custody as authorities work to reunite him with his family. The identity of the second child found in the vehicle has not been disclosed.
Following the news of his safe recovery, Abdul’s family released a statement expressing their relief and gratitude.
The statement read: "We're overwhelmed with joy that Aziz has finally been found. We want to thank everyone for their support over the last seven years. We specifically want to recognize the Douglas County Sheriff's Office for their exceptional work in solving this case. Now, as we navigate the next steps, we ask for privacy so that we can move forward as a family and heal together."
Elliot Bourgeois has also been arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping Douglas County Sheriff's Office
Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly also commended his deputies for their keen observation and dedication to uncovering the truth.
He stated: "Our deputies responded to what initially seemed like a routine trespass call, but through sharp attention to detail and tenacity, they uncovered the truth."
He continued: "Their ability to recognize the discrepancies in the suspects' story and to follow the leads, even when the situation seemed unclear, ultimately led to the safe recovery of a child who had been missing for seven long years."
Additionally, US Marshal Enix Smith III from the Eastern District of Louisiana extended his thanks to Unsolved Mysteries, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and Crime Stoppers for their role in keeping the case alive and helping direct public attention to the investigation.
