A woman has opened up about the backlash she faces for sleeping with other men while being in a committed relationship.
Gabby Lyons, who lives on the Gold Coast, is in a relationship with fellow adult content creator Courtney James.
The two first met in 2023 under unusual circumstances - Lyons had purchased a puppy from James.
What started as a simple transaction quickly turned into something much deeper.
"It was a bit of fun. We both didn't expect to fall for each other as hard as we did," Lyons shared with Truly.

But their love story hasn’t come without challenges. While Lyons was already working in the adult industry, James had no experience in that world.
At first, James admitted he was "very hesitant" about the idea of Lyons filming with other men. The concept didn’t sit well with him.
However, over time, he became more comfortable with it, eventually deciding to be a part of it himself.
To make things work, the couple put specific rules in place to avoid jealousy or conflicts.
They only film with single women or other couples, ensuring that no one in a monogamous relationship feels uncomfortable.
However, when it comes to filming with male content creators, they only work alongside other couples.
James was hesitant about Lyons’ work arrangement at first, but now is on board.

Their first time filming with another man was with Jeremy, a fellow adult content creator.
James admitted that stepping into this situation made him nervous.
When asked how he felt leading up to the moment, he candidly said, "Is he bigger? Is he better? Is he stronger?"
Lyons, on the other hand, was equally aware of how this experience might affect James.
She was mindful of how he would react in the moment and whether his feelings would change afterward.
"No guy wants to see his wife, girlfriend or partner with another male," she admitted.
However, after their first filming session, the couple sat down for lunch and talked everything through.
They made sure they were both still on the same page.
Looking back, James acknowledged he was anxious, but he also saw it as something he had always been curious about.
He now believes the experience has helped strengthen their relationship and trust.
James said he thinks shooting sexual content with others has strengthened their relationship and trust.

While their relationship has grown stronger, Lyons has also had to deal with intense online trolling.
She revealed that strangers have even gone as far as contacting her family to criticize her career.
She described the "next level bullying" she receives, sharing that people often call her "ugly" or "disgusting"
Other comments include people calling her "Low class" and questioning why James is such a "push over" for staying with her.
"The worst reactions were the loss of people who I thought were really close to me," she shared.
Despite all the negativity, Lyons says she isn’t bothered by what people think of her.
She added that most of the harsh comments she receives now come from people who seem curious about exploring similar lifestyles but don’t know how to start.
