My Wedding Day Shock: Mom Stole the Spotlight in Her Own Bridal Gown

I Came to My Wedding and Saw My Mom in a Wedding Dress with a Bouquet

Nicole’s mother had become heavily involved in the planning of the wedding ever when Nicole started. She follows Nicole’s instructions to step back. Nevertheless, her mother strangely receives a call telling her to wear a wedding dress, and on the day of the wedding, she does just that. As Nicole learns who has taken advantage of her mother’s emotions and plans to destroy them, she becomes enraged. The narrative develops in this manner…

Planning our wedding will be simple and uncomplicated, I told myself when Peter and I became engaged.

Unlike other girls my age, I didn’t lie around thinking about getting married. I was just aware that cupcakes would be necessary for my wedding celebration when the time came.

It ended there.
Consequently, I always understood that I would require my mother’s guidance on the actual occasion. Since neither of my parents was married, my wedding was also going to be her opportunity to arrange a wedding.

My mother’s pregnancy was unexpected when they started dating.

Before I was even born, my father naturally packed up and moved out.

I was told by my mother, “But that’s just a thing of the past, Nicole,” during our wedding dress shopping.

“And you’re happy now, with Anthony?” I asked her as I observed her focusing on two specific gowns. My mother was obviously examining herself in those dresses because they didn’t suit my taste.

I knew that although she was happily married to Anthony for a long time, she occasionally daydreamed about getting married.

But even so, she was a touch too eager to assist in selecting the cake, flowers, and even the layout of the reception table as we planned my wedding.
“Mom,” I addressed her, seeing as how she leaned over my wedding notebook. “You need to back off just a little bit.”

She gave me a friendly grin and gave me a silent nod. which instantly filled me with dread.

It appeared to be the mild prod she required, though. As she only checked in with my wedding planner, Anna, to finalise the arrangements, she did indeed take a step back.

I saw brides on TV eating bananas, so on my wedding day, I was sitting on my hotel room balcony doing just that. It was then that I started to feel a building sense of excitement.
I was at last getting hitched.

Nothing, however, could have equipped me for what lay ahead of me this day.

Ready to give myself a last-minute makeover before walking down the aisle, my hair and makeup professionals met me at the church early in the morning.

My anticipation quickly gave way to horror when I entered the bride’s dressing room.

With a pair of shoes in her hand, my mother sat by the floor-length mirror, decked out in a full white bridal gown.

“A mother? How is it going? How are you spending your time?

For a brief moment, I was completely engrossed in my mother’s beaming smile, which was genuine and radiant.

Whirling slowly, she said, “Isn’t it amazing?” “I got a call saying you wanted me to attend the wedding with you. You had never informed me of it before, so I couldn’t believe it.”

“Who called you?” Feeling a little dizzy, I asked.
As realisation gradually set in, her smile wavered.

“Hey, honey, this is your wedding planner.”

“Anna?” Bewildered, I asked. “I spoke to her last night and she didn’t mention it.”
“I believe so,” my mother remarked, becoming uncertain.

I immediately pulled out my phone and demanded an explanation from Anna. Joking about like this was harsh. I would completely lose my mind if Anna was involved.

“No, Nicole,” she asserted. “My supervisor did want your mother’s phone number; it wasn’t me. Since I thought the request was reasonable, I granted it.”
I asked, “Your boss?” However, I’ve only collaborated with you. “Who is in charge of you?”

She said, “Miranda James.”

Almost as if my heart had collapsed. I was familiar with the name. The former name of Peter was that.
I headed to find Peter, leaving my mother in the dressing room. There was a sense in which I understood that something was amiss. That she would attempt to ruin our day made sense if she was his ex.

In an attempt to win her back, Miranda had attended numerous occasions over the years that Peter and I were together.

Peter was putting on clothes when I found him. His mouth dropped to a scowl upon seeing my face, but he smiled when he saw me in my bridal gown.

His question was, “What’s wrong?”

I described the entire incident.
“Please come,” he commanded. “Let’s go to her office.”

With instructions to clarify the situation, we gave our wedding party control. Anna answered the phone quickly and raced to the church, where I requested her to help my mother get changed back into her original clothes and explain everything to her.

We saw Miranda sitting in front of her computer, appearing arrogant and smug.

Peter questioned bluntly, “Why?”

Shrugging, she said to him, “I thought it would be a fun surprise.”
Even for you, Peter said, this is low. “You had no right to interfere in our wedding.”

For some minutes, they argued back and forth, and eventually, I made up my mind to inflict on Miranda the same suffering and disgrace that I was certain my mother was going through at the church.

I pulled out my phone and quickly made a video to set the scene, emphasising Miranda’s part of it all.
Every wedding vendor we had engaged for our wedding was tagged in the social media post I made.

The reply came right away.

My phone kept exploding with people reacting to Miranda’s inconsiderate behaviour as Peter and I made our way back to the chapel, resolved to tie the knot.

Just five minutes prior to my scheduled wedding, I noticed that Miranda’s online persona had been severely damaged by the negative comments made about her actions.

I turned to face her as she stood in the doorway and said, “Mom.” It’s really my fault. everything. I’m aware of your previous excitement.”

With a sorrowful smile that was just barely visible, my mother’s happiness was there in her eyes.

She sweep my hair away and replied, “It’s fine, love.” It would have been obvious to me that it was a joke if you had told me otherwise. Let’s marry you, Nicole, come on.”

I got my bouquet from her.
Peter gave my mother a firm embrace as she was proudly walking me down the aisle and her eyes were full of joy.

The only thing Miranda was able to do was contact my mother, so fortunately everything went smoothly at our wedding. For everything else, Anna had accounted for.

Everything improved even more while Peter and I were on our honeymoon. Several wedding planners started reaching out to me with complimentary offers to assist us in celebrating our special day.

As we had cocktails on the beach, Peter made a joke about Miranda saying that she was a disgrace to the wedding planning profession.

“Well, everyone is trying to prove that they’re better than her,” I answered.

“My spouse yawned and said, ‘I apologise, but I just can’t handle the drama of another wedding.”

I said to myself, “Neither am I.” Nevertheless, I do believe I will accept the invitation. The fantasy wedding is what my mother deserves. She was prepared for it as well. Our only task is to inform Anthony.

When Peter saw my face, he laughed, but then became serious. For my mother’s surprise, I was determined to pull this off.

Hence, I collaborated covertly with a fresh event coordinator. Everything was precisely scheduled to her specifications. Everything was perfect, from her ideal cake to her favourite flowers to her dream wedding gown.

Under the guise of my in-law’s anniversary celebration, we met at the location on the day of the surprise. Upon realising what was occurring, my mother arrived, overcome with emotion and in shock.

“This is intended for you,” I replied while assisting her in donning her bridal gown. “It’s all for you.”

Sniffing, my mother nodded.

At long last, she had her chance. We became closer as a result of doing this.

Jane is more than excited to start her new life as a wife, even though she is still loving her honeymoon glow. Her husband, however, is revealed to be as shallow as they come when she overhears a chat between him and his pals. Will Jane stay put or will she become the perfect woman Wayne wants?
